Bio
Evan began his career at ORNL in November 2022. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he attended both UW-Parkside and Milwaukee before completing his BS in Computer Science from the latter in May 2022. While attending university, Evan continued to be a hobby cluster admin for both a small cluster he built in his friends basement and refactored at UW-Parkside for a simulation oriented quantum physics professor. That exposure to and enjoyment of HPC environments drove him to applying for his current position on the Storage and Archive team shortly after graduating.
